The Key

I found the key,

 In the strangest of places.

Past the walls

And the sea of faces,

In the corner of my mind

In the depths of my pain.

A little ray of hope

In amongst the rain.

With a sea of lights

Falling all around.

I tried not to close my eyes

As my knee hit the ground.
